Mitsubishi Challenger PB
The second generation of the vehicle, based on the ladder frame chassis of the Mitsubishi Triton/Mitsubishi Freeca/L200/Hunter. It is offered as 2.5 or 3.2 litre diesel and 3.0 or 3.5 litre V6 petrol engines are available as before, while five- or seven-seat interior configurations are offered.

Factory Headunit Notes
The PB Challenger featured a Mitsubishi single DIN Radio with a red vehicle display.
Pre 2012 model radios (W697) use the CHMB8C Steering wheel control adapter
Post 2012 model radios (W776) use the CHMB5C
CHMB6C for factory Kenwood navigation systems
The display can be replaced with a single or double DIN radio and relocated to the factory radio position using the FP8013CR relocation kit
